Privacy policy

This explains how The Daily Side Quest handles personal data under UK GDPR. In short: we do not run analytics, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not ask you for an account or any details to read the site.

What we collect

We do not collect personal data ourselves. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes technical request data, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not have access to that as analytics.

Trailers (YouTube)

Trailers are click to load. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google's own privacy policy applies to that request.

Images and links

Game images are loaded directly from the store's official servers (for example Steam's or Epic's content networks), so your browser sends them your IP address when a page with those images loads. Links to stores and other sites are governed by those sites' own policies.

Submitting a game

Game submissions are made through GitHub issues, which are public and are governed byGitHub's privacy statement. Please do not put anything private in a public issue other than a contact email you are happy to share.

Your rights and contact

You can ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailingleveledgestudios@gmail.com or byopening an issue on GitHub. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If we add analytics, advertising or accounts later, we will update this page first.
